Refund policy
This policy explains how refunds, credits, and delivery issues are handled for Google review orders placed through Epic Reviews UK.
Draft policy. The structure and clauses below are a genuine starting point, but should be reviewed against the Consumer Rights Act 2015 before launch, particularly around consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by any policy.
Introduction
This policy explains how refunds are evaluated for Google review packages purchased through Epic Reviews UK. Outcomes depend on accurate business details at checkout and delivery being within our control. This policy does not limit any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Scope
This policy covers orders placed through our official checkout. It does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund. Each request is reviewed against the eligibility rules below.
Non-refundable and limited-refund cases
Generally non-refundable situations include:
- An incorrect business name, invalid Google Maps link, or a Business Profile that is suspended or unclaimed at the time of order
- Partial delivery that is still within the stated delivery window
- A change of mind after delivery has started
- Suspected fraud or policy violation by the customer
When delivery starts
Orders typically begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed, with reviews posting gradually across the delivery window described on the package you ordered.
Duplicate or failed charges
If you believe you have been charged twice or incorrectly, contact us immediately with your transaction reference and we will investigate through our payment records.
Cancelling before delivery
Cancellation may be possible if your order has not yet started fulfilment. The earlier you contact us after ordering, the more likely a cancellation can be actioned.
Completed orders
Once an order is marked completed in our system based on our delivery records, refund requests are typically declined unless a clear documentation error is identified.
Non-drop guarantee
Every package includes a non-drop guarantee. If a delivered review is removed by Google after your order is completed, contact us with your order reference and we will look into a replacement.
Non-delivery or under-delivery
If we fail to deliver the purchased quantity within the stated delivery window, and your business details were accurate at the time of order, you may be entitled to redelivery, a partial credit, or a refund for the undelivered portion.
Outcomes we do not control
Google review counts and ratings can be affected by Google's own moderation, recounting, or policy changes after delivery. Refunds are generally not granted solely for platform-side changes that occur after successful delivery, unless explicitly stated otherwise for your package.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank rather than contacting us first, your bank or card network controls the timeline. We may provide transaction and delivery records to your payment provider to demonstrate fulfilment. Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions.
Processing times
Approved refunds are submitted to our payment provider for processing. The time it takes to appear in your account can vary by bank, card issuer, and region.
Fraud and abuse
We may refuse service, withhold a refund, or close an account where fraud, chargeback abuse, or a policy violation is identified.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
